I woke up at 4 a.m. this morning to the smell of burning. Was the house on fire? No. Housemate had put some chops on to cook then wandered off to play a computer game. <grumble> I hate waking up that early, always takes me a long time to get back to sleep.

The cubs had a good weekend though - they raided the paper recycling for cardboard boxes so they could build their own Transformers. Hours of fun.
And they've been reading Calvin and Hobbes. Hmmm... they identify far too readily with the little brat, but it's lovely to hear them laugh out loud as they read. : )
