Fun fun fun.
The cubs and I all have colds - not that you could tell initially this morning given the sounds of joy and delight coming from the cubs when I told them they could stay home from school. *rolls eyes* But they're sitting on the couch now, tucked up under a blanket and watching the Wallace & Grommit dvd. We are really all unwell, honestly, the fact that we've got next monday and tuesday off played no part in my decision to keep them home for today and tomorrow thus giving us a 6 day holiday. Well OK, maybe a little, but probly not for the reasons you think. I have things planned for monday and tuesday and hopefully these 2 extra days to rest will mean we'll all be feeling well enough to go out later.

Lessons I have Learnt.

Watermelon is wonderfully soothing on a sore throat.
And lemon, *nudge, nudge* can alleviate the symptoms of a cold. ^.^

*gasp*
Joules has just threatened to not do the next AC chapter until after Yule!!
